Enduring Understandings It is essential to teach our students how to effectively use technology as a tool for research, collaboration, communication and design.
Overview This session is intend to be an overview of current uses of technology in education. Staff should gain an overall understanding of how to use the tools presented and how to integrate them into their lessons. Staff will rotate through technology integration mini-sessions related to the following topics:
Wikis for digital portfolios, collaboration, and digital responses (examples Apple wiki server, PBworks, wikispaces)
iPads/tablets - using and integrating apps for video, images, audio, digital text books, and more (FDUTechTools4Teachers - My site for apps - feel free to join and contribute)
Video Conferencing & Collaboration (examples: Skype, iChat, ooVoo)
